I honestly think you are the first person to do that. Well done. Hard boil it next time and add a SPR kit would be my only suggestion. Cut down the middle and butterfly it too maybe?

Yeah, you’d need to reinforce it out of something. Like a 3d printed cage to protect each half, but at that point, it’s kinda cheating on the whole concept.
