kk vs center trac

i use a standard steel kk bearing and i’ve noticed that the strings all gather at the center (obviously), but for example when you roll the yoyo towards your non throwhand in a say… trapeze, the string just kinda coils up and snags. i hope you guys understand what i mean.

will a center trac solve this problem?

anyways please offer comparisons and personal opinions on which is better.

thanks!

The konkave forces string in the center so it’s alot easier to snap back at you. A ccenter track will still do that but not as easiely since it is flat in the center leaving more space for the strings.

well i haven’t use this bearings yet but i think a center trac beaing allows more string layers because of its flat center.and I agree with shisaki.

Flat bearing.

i dont think this is the shape of your bearing, it is probably the lube or response of the yoyo. I have a concave, and that doesnt happen. Make sure the bearing spins freely for a good long time and even try out some other bearings in the yoyo to see if the response changes the play.
Hope that helps
