# Chopsticks Gorilla:

The latest Yoyoreceration release is a signature model for 2019 Japan Champion Hirotaka Akiba! Akiba’s unique play style has earned him the nickname Chopsticks Gorilla, so it’s the perfect name for his signature yo-yo! With a chopstick heavy play style you typically want a yo-yo with a slightly smaller diameter to increase trick accuracy. With a 54 mm diameter, the Chopsticks Gorilla is definitely smaller than most competition level yo-yos, but in play it has all the power and stability of a much larger model.

Autoscopy is the signature yo-yo of Hajime Miura, who has won six consecutive world championships, and in 2018, won two categories simultaneously. Inspired by his unparalleled career in the history of yo-yos, in which he controlled two yo-yos in the two categories in which he won, we took on the challenge of simultaneously developing a bimetal and off-string yo-yo of the same shape. The result is a yo-yo that can compete in competitions with one or two of each!

That gold+blue colorway looks pretty sweet, but I was really hoping they’d release a gold+gold Chopsticks Gorilla, like they did for the Anomaly and the Overdrive Draupnir. Oh well… 😞
