# YYJ Theory Caps! Anyone else find fingerspins hard?

Got a YYJ Theory recently and had wanted one and finally traded for it. I was mainly intrigued by the lateral cap design and looked like a good throw. I really like it as a throw but fingerspins are nearly impossible. Anyone else find these lateral caps hard to do fingerspins on? Anyone have tips? I’ve only landed it like 3 times since I’ve had it for like 5 days.

I find fingerspins on my theory very difficult. I think it has to do with the size of the finger indent. I hope that if YYJ redesign or changes the theory, they make the finger indent a little bit bigger.

Super easy! Just takes practice! Start out by getting the finger spins from a throw, not by popping it up and trying to land it, just throw a sharp angled break away, stick your finger in the insert, and pull back gradually with the string.
