# yyj and yyf bearings

i am wondering if i can put a DIE-NASTY bearing in a yyj legacy and a yyj legacy in a DIE-NASTY
and if yyj shims fit in the DIe-NASTY

im sure the bearing will fit fine. they are the same size. As for the shims, id think it was too wide and would have slippy binds but feel free to try.

to the first question, yes, they are both size c bearings.
Don’t know anything about shims though. Sry

They are right about the bearings.
Shims? No. Here’s why. YYF like many others design their yo’s to us as much of the flat surface of the bearing as possible. This means that if you put shims in it then the string will fall beside the bearing and
then your string goes SNAP!
