# YYF 888x or DV888???

im looking for a new yoyo. i currently have a dark magic, but i need a smoother yoyo. can the 888x come back up after just 1 layer of binding, or 2? is the dv888 easier to come back up? what are hubstacks and what will i need them for? thank you!!

You don’t need hubstacks there a waste of money. A DV888 is about the same size of an 888x, but I have heard much better reviews on a DV888 than an 888x.

888x isn’t very old yet so there aren’t many reviews. unless you’ve had an 888 before i see no problem with any. You wont be disappointed. if you want to save a little go with dv. if you want something thats more smooth than the other get the 888x ut a dv888, id say is smooth enough.
Im gettin an 888x for x-mas ;D

I’d say a Dv888 considering how much money it saves you and its great performance. Its small to so it depends on your choice.
