As promised, here are some pictures, specs, and a little insight into the idea behind our collaboration. **YOYOSAURUS × SPUTNIK: RELIC** **Specs:** - Diameter: 56.5 mm - Width: 49.5 mm - Weight: 68.3 g - Material: A7075 Aluminum The design was largely inspired by two models: the Mustang by Turning Point and the original Borealis by CLYW. Our goal was to bring together what we loved most about both of them: a yoyo that feels substantial and powerful, yet remains fast and airy in play. At first glance, these characteristics might seem mutually exclusive. However, by moving away from the conventional weight distribution found in most modern designs, where mass is concentrated towards the outer edges of the rims, we took a different approach. The combination of double rims and more weight distributed towards the center of the yoyo allowed us to achieve exactly what we were looking for. On paper, going above 68 grams with a monometal yoyo might sound like overkill. But both after the very first throw and throughout six months of testing, reality turned out to be quite different. Thanks to its weight distribution and A7075 construction, RELIC feels surprisingly fast, responsive and light in play. But let’s not forget: it’s still 68.3 grams. So when it comes to power and stability, there’s certainly no shortage of either. Once again, a huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this project to life. Hey Paul… I think I’m kind of disappointed. I don’t know if you remember but a long time ago we had a conversation. And I told you straight up and honestly that even though I am a yo-yo doctor. I am still technically a doctor. And I gave you some advice. I told you you need to get little sunlight every day, even 10 or 15 minutes. It would really do a lot to improve your complexion and give you a more healthy appearance Also, a pair of sunglasses wouldn’t hurt. And the way your eyes look I think you should even wear them at night. Maybe you just need a little sleep? You know some beauty sleep. So why don’t you go lay down and take a nap for four or five days. That would be a start anyways And by the way, congratulations on the new yo-yo. Anybody that pays attention is aware of the fact that you are very high-level player. And if you’ve got that yo-yo, the relic developed to the level that you feel it can be sold, I am fully confident that it is a great playing yo-yo. No doubt about it. I’ll buy one. ---
