You could probably use them to pay for an English lesson.

Depends on many factors… age, country of origin, condition, special release (eg. Breakdancer), etc.

A few of the bigger collectors of Russell yoyos have sold off their collections over the last year or two, so the market might be a bit flat right now.

There have also been a lot of fakes produced (seem to originate from Mexico) .

Browsing eBay should give you a good idea of what you can expect.
