After @pyrotechnic mods them they are. Otherwise if you sleeve the “axle” with a slim marker cap it actually plays okay as a fixie ---

I’m guessing like the cap to a thin sharpie or crayola washable, but trimmed to make an axle sleeve. ---

I found this during a walk today. If anyone is along I90 in NY, the GreenApple seems to be stocking Duncan’s. Butterfly, Imperials and XT. A little more expensive at 6.99, XT 12.99 but when you need one, you need one. 🙂 ---

One of my first yoyos (unfortunately not proper, unable to sleep, string glued to axle, etc) came from a cereal aisle at the grocery store. At that time, I had never seen a yoyo sleep or know that it could sleep…so all I did with it was dribble til I got bored. ---
