Hmmm. The slow motion makes me rethink things a bit. The response in normal time seemed different. Someone here will identify the yoyo. GO TEAM!!! Yoyo looks alot little bigger than a dollar store yoyo. It looks like wood. ---

I was watching Star Trek Voyager: Think Tank, and ran into this dialog. JANEWAY: Yes? SEVEN: Captain, long range scans have detected. JANEWAY: One second. I’ve wasted two hours on this thing and I’m no closer to solving it. (It is a large object with at least six hexagonal sides and a couple of squares. The hexagons have a honeycomb of lights on them. Like a complicated Rubik’s cube, I suppose.) SEVEN: You can thank Ensign Paris for introducing the artefact to the ship. JANEWAY: He was behind the last ship wide craze, too. Yo-yos. Now it’s Sheer Lunacy. Another hour and I’ll go insane. ---

It’s good, but has more than It’s share of silly episodes. The episode where Janeway and Paris have salamander babies and leave them on a planet is a prime example. ---

Didn’t want to like it either… But end up thinking about it every time I give an estimate to the boss on how long a job is going to take. Have to account for plenty of time to goof around. And better to get done earlier than to overpromise. One of the many life lessons I gathered from Trek. ---

The one that sticks out in my mind is the episode where Neelix and Tuvok are combined into a new person due to a transporter incident. That was pretty ridiculous… But my favorite show of all time is Magnum, so my tastes are on the corny side. ---
