# Yoyos coming apart

Does anyone else have issues with their yoyos just falling apart on you (maybe the yoyo nicks your hand or the ground or just simply starts to come apart)? A common yoyo this happens on is my horizon. Is there a good way to stop this from happening as often (lubricating the axel, simply tightening it more)?

Yes this happens to me. I find it happens most commonly with yoyos with short axles I’m not sure how to fix it though. all I do is generally try and have the yoyo be (like run my hand around a yoyo half to make sure it’s together) together when I Yoyo.

Some yoyos are susceptible to that. Tighten them a bit more (carefully) or try the light duty loctite. Don’t use the heavy duty stuff. You’ll never get it apart again.

Plumbing tape, the thin white tape one used for plumbing thread and stuff.

There could be many different solutions, but if I interpreted it correctly, this should help.

Unless it is just a manner of how much you tighten the yoyo its self. 😃
