as far as I know, 2009 bgrade sleips were mostly engraved, I’m mostly thinking of a half-swapped 2009

I bought it for $55 as ‘beat, unengraved sleipnir. has vibe. origin unknown’
apparently the original owner did not notice it had thin response. I managed to tune it by sanding down the axle thus freeing up some space.
however it also feels somewhat heavier than my other red, standard response 09 sleipnir, more like a tt or 8-leg one.

wait, you have a 09 sleipnir that doesn’t use 0.5mm pads?
did you weigh them?

It is the red one i showed a few pages ago. It has curved bearing seats and white spots on the gap walls.
The response groove is anodized like the rest of the body iirc.
All my sleipnirs (sleipnar?) weigh somewhere between 65.3-65.6g

Weird, I was pretty sure all YYR yoyos used 0.5mm pads until 2010
Nice though, I remember looking for both a blue and a red 2009 sleipnir for months back in the days

wasnt there any runs between the OG 09 and 8-legs of 2011?

Looks pretty interesting, I would love to try it. Something tells me I would enjoy the 66g version more than the og. Too bad I’m saving for my trip to Tokyo.

Really like the new Draupnir release. If it was blasted i’d definitely grab it but not sure i can justify it. Looks great though.

OG Projects were available in pink.

Really bumming I missed the Pink Draupnir. It looks so sweet.
What this really shows is that YYR needs to make more Draupnir’s and LESS of the Sputnik and the Laser. Why did we get a second “special” Sputnik when no none was buying the first one? People want the Draupnir!!!
How about fulfilling some demand before releasing a new throw to take away precious manufacturing time from the Draupnir? Seriously, I have been waiting to buy a new color-anodized one for ages. Every time they come out with one; it either sells out in 15 minutes, or the color sucks.
I am past being irritated about this Yoyorecreation. Make the stinking yo-yo’s already!
