After several prototypes, they settled on a design that achieved their desired characteristics. The [Da Vinci](https://shop.yoyoexpert.com/collections/new-releases/products/da-vinci-yoyo-by-yoyofriends) features a wide stainless steel rim, an H-profile inverse shape, and a slightly narrower width of around 44.5 mm. It excels in rotational power, lightness, and versatility, particularly in horizontal play.

The name “[Da Vinci](https://shop.yoyoexpert.com/collections/new-releases/products/da-vinci-yoyo-by-yoyofriends)” was chosen to reflect the yo-yo’s versatility and the creator’s association with the famous polymath Leonardo da Vinci.
