Fueling me as I peform,
Pushing my limit.

People ask: What is a Haiku ?

Haiku is often used to introduce students to poetry that has a set structure. Structure means that a writer must follow certain rules.

What are the 3 rules of haiku?

- There are no more than 17 syllables.
- Haiku is composed of only 3 lines.
- Typically, every first line of Haiku has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables, and the third has 5 syllables.

\*\*\* A Haiku that does not count syllables is called a “Lune”.
