# Yoyo cutaways

Is there a way I can see how different yoyo rims are attached? Do companies typically use the same approach? Are there any cutaway images I can access?

Ever since bimetals came out, I’ve been fascinated with how they’re attached and how the different metals effect the weight distribution and how that affects the play. I’m sure that by now, there’s an accepted and proper way to do things and I want to understand that process.
