Love this one. Maybe its from all the cuts on the profile, but the cup underneath the rim to the hub looks super nice as well. Would love to see a shot of the profile shape. ---

Do you remember the prototype sold at worlds 2008? I wanna say it was called the LCY and had a bunch of cuts but can’t find the info on it anymore. Edit: Found an old post about it but no pics. Keep in mind too that if you’re designing around a D bearing you can get away with a pretty low weight. 61g sounds light, but it will feel significantly heavier with a D bearing than a 61g C bearing yoyo. Just for example - The Sturm Panzer Leo Sniper Mk2 7068 weighs in at 59.4g and still has a good presence on the string. It’s bi-metal so a little different, but you can definitely get away with sub 60g on a D bearing design without it feeling too light. ---

This I like. Wish there were more bimetal organics. I personally like a bigger diameter with a moderate width so the specs are looking pretty sexy . ---

Oh, MarkD, I was just wondering whether you could make a tutorial for noobs like me on how to prototype an easy beginner yoyo using Fusion. Nothing fancy, just a basic in-depth explanation of the different tools, and how to start making a yoyo in Fusion. I respect if you don’t have time or don’t want to, but it might be something that could help a bunch of people. (If you are interested, but don’t want to share your voice, you could maybe use a voice changer?) Thanks! ---
