I can’t tell you why people hold music festivals in the parklands instead of at the showgrounds. Like, events were shifted away from the NW parks because they were too close to the police stables, but moved to the NE parks nearer the zoo. The stables are going to be moved further North at some point anyway. No-one holds concerts in the SW parks which is all netball courts and cricket pitches for reasons that aren’t made public. Other than that, lyrebirds are from the eastern forests, not South Australia. It would be copying birds and other sounds unnatural to its region regardless ---
