I do want to add, affordable guitars have gotten MUCH better over the past decade or so. The quality gap between cheap and mid price is much larger than between mid price and high end So you dont necessarily have to go super expensive, but the cheapest thing on the shelf is usually not worth it if you can save up a bit more and get a significantly better product for a bit more. ---
