I’ve seen them go for as little as $15 shipped. $10 shipped with another throw. I don’t understand why, I’ve seen people swear by them.

I’d say $35 is a more reasonable value on an 08 888. Pretty sure the other guy confused it with the dv888

I think it could go for closer to $50 – $60. Especially being near mint, and 7075 aluminum.

888’s are 6061

I’m not sure all were. For example I don’t think the Celtic or Raven 888 is 7075. I believe they are both 08’. I also have a “blood red” 888 that was an exclusive at a European shop. I don’t think it’s 7075 either. I’m intrigued by this and and going to do some research.

yyfben posted that 08 888s were 7075 a year or two ago so I took him at his word and assumed it applied to all 08 888s, but that could certainly be incorrect

Three have been available within the last 6 months. Ernie sold a mint one for $610, one sold on eBay for $365, also mint, and one was on the bst but the price was disclosed.
