My first was a Duncan Gem. The I got a few imperials and then the butterfly. Oh that was nice. Nothing better than a 60ā€™s to 70ā€™s butterfly! ---

At age 15, my first yoyo was this one. A wooden looper from a colonial village gift shop called ā€œOld Sturbridge Villageā€ ([http://www.osv.org/](http://www.osv.org/))waaaay back in 3rd grade in like 1990. It had a fixed wooden axle on only one side so it came apart. I used to stick the string in the hole and push the axle over it so it would auto return. I was so lame then! First Wooden Transaxle - Playmaxx Pro-yo (Pre-Duncan) First Bearing - Duncan Freehand 2 First Metal - Yomega Maverick First Unresponsive - YYJ Dark Magic I have since been back to Old Sturbridge Village as an adult with my kids and found that they do still sell wooden loopers- but they no longer suck. I own 2 and each of my older kids have one as well. :wink: ---

I forgot my first bearing at least I think its a bearing, Was one of the Yomega fireballs that came in Happy Meals Back when I was like 10 šŸ™‚ I think that was one of the first booms lol.
