I was going to add dollar tree throws to the prize list, but I didn’t think anyone would choose them, so I left them out of it. I have a few dollar tree throws stashed away for a rainy day. 😃

True but the pool staff tend to get a bit iffy about that… many a time I’ve had a whilstle blown at me for splashing too much…
I think it’s safe to say that I’m coming last in the Splash Game. However, I have a full time job and can afford any and all the yoyos I want to, so I’d be happier to see it go to a more deserving home. The thrill of the contest was enough for me. ;D

So hopefully all of my string formulas and stuff will be ready in january. Then I can send some out to a few of my favorite forumn members so that they can test them and review them. Things are looking good! I really like my strings, and I think that the prices aren’t that bad.

lemme know when you need string testers cause I have tested tons of different strings on the forums if you need someone experienced string wise.

depending on what thread you are using, that could be an extremely small profit, or it could be a major loss. What brand are you using for your thread? Or at least, how much thread do you get for how much money?

BTW, everyone. I just received my first feedback (positive), and would like to thank the academy for this great honor… Jk. But I would like to thank Andy569 for being my first customer! This is my first step in a good direction for my homemade business 🙂

So, let’s talk business. I only use black string, do you make black string? What kinds/colors?

I do make black string, in polyester types, and in poly/rayon. I also have neon yellow, green, yellow, red, blue, purple, white, and of course black string, but those are polyester thread only. Rayon wise, I have only black thread, but I am able to get quite a few colors. Other than that, I have the glow in the dark strings, and I have a specialty string called Type HV which is meant for visibility in day and night. It is neon yellow with neon thread mixed with glow in the dark thread. I also have a Facebook page, which is on my profile, that I will keep updated with news, and other various things, once things start to pick up a bit more.

I also forgot to mention that all of the strings are a few inches shorter than 6ft., leaving them highly customizable for various types of play.

but by then after you make 10 strings in your spare time and you sell it at that price there would be no money left to make a decent profit to keep your project going.
