Is it better to use a tug responsive yoyo for 4A (in example a stock BigYo)? There’s been dispute between some friends of mine and I just want other peoples’ opinions.

The smaller gap in the big yo makes the 4A bind a lot easier, but the downside is that it can snag because it catches to much string.

Pros go unresponsive. It’s real 4a man.

Just like 1a, unresponsive play allows for more complex tricks. You can start out responsive, but try and see if you can bind 4a style and play unresponsive.
