# Yomega Maverick?

Please compare what anybadoy knows about the Yomega Maverick with the Dark Magic. I will be grateful. :wink:

Maverick is way smoother and has a better finish for grindings. The Dark magic is a lot heavier than the maverick and is more stable out of the box. If you buy some spacers with maverick though it is a total win! it gives it a wider gap makes it less responsive and creates more stability. But, if you already have a DM you do not NEED a maverick.

the maverick comes with spacers and even if you put the thick spacers in the gap is small and way smaller then the dm gap
