That second one has me scratching my head… The first is a variation of the cut and restored rope but the second one has me a bit puzzled. I’ll have to give it more thought. Really really like the idea of blending the two things though. I owned a magic store in the 80’s so Magic has always been near and dear to me. ---

best guess on trick two is that you had a second yoyo on string in your other hand, but your slight of hand is impressive, i can’t see how you did it. ---

actually thinking more about it, you could have the yoyo end of the string in a noose but open up to your finger loop, we can;t see that end of the string while your hand is over it, then, just let it slip around the axle on the yoyo and its trapped on string now… either way its clever. ---
