# yo yo grinding

Lately when I throw, my yo-yo has been slowing down. I’ve tried changing the friction stickers and oiling the bearing. Also tried a new string. (If it makes a difference, it’s Duncan Metal Drifter)

Actually lubing it will make it slow down more. Try cleaning the bearing and lightly lube it.

Are you using the standard duncan friction sticker or the silicone stickers? Try just using one instead of two.

I"m using the standard friction stickers. I’ll try it with one.
