I bought pink string from YYExpert and just as I remember its kind of rough. ☹ It’s not bad, but I like my string a bit more on the soft side. ---

The purple string is also shorter and really rough ☹ ---

Sometimes I wonder why this site still sells cotton string. Andre Boulay doesn’t recommend it, and I’ve read the comments of a few other people saying they don’t recommend it either. Maybe cotton string is still sold to remind us of where yo-yoing started. ---

Because Andre isn’t the yoyo community. I’m sure that Andre doesn’t like quite a few yoyo’s on the site, but other people do so he sells them While most of us wouldn’t recommend cotton yoyo string, there isn’t anything wrong with using it if you like it. ---
