Hey guys I had a incident recently there I had a bad bind and then threw down hard- the yo-yo swung around and smacked my head shattering my sun glasses that were on my head. I was pretty bummed until I remembered my brother in law. My brother in law was trying to get a string out of a Coca-Cola yoyo as a kid with a pen knife- long story short he managed to stab his eye and after years of surgery etc lost the eye. Made me want to ask out there for any yo-yo horror stories… ---

No he was just around for the old yo-yo craze- I didn’t realise I might be triggering some trauma for him until my wife pointed it out. He has assured me he is ok. He was pulling the string towards him when the blade slipped out… crazy! ---

WOW!!😳 If this were a championship of horrible stories with yoyo, the terrible story of your brother-in-law and the loss of the eye would win. What a bad luck:( ---

Dooood, the whole eye thing made me insta-cringe into a ball. That is a most savage and unprecidented injury. I knew those Coke yo-yos on auction sites were trouble :joy::joy: Most I’ve had is smashing my nose so hard I tasted blood-no scars or permanent damage. Repeatedly graze a nad when yoyo in boxers. I never learn 😵
