The Magnesium Miracle by Yoyofactory\>
Everybody doesn’t need a magnesium yo-yo. And everybody doesn’t want a magnesium yo-yo. And everybody doesn’t have the money or willingness to spend the money on a magnesium yo-yo.
But if you want to buy a magnesium yo-yo. And you want one at a reasonable price… Considering.
And you want one that you will want to reach for and play and shake your head and smile and say well I guess I got a good one…
Look no further.
This is one bad boy! I’m not saying that next year when Mir Kim wins Worlds again, that I know what yo-yo he’s gonna be using. But something tells me if this is the one he will end up winning with. It certainly won’t be a miracle guess.
It’ll just be a magnesium miracle, Period🤓

I mean…even if it’s cheap “for a magnesium bimetal” it’s still a lot of money.
I’ve been eyeing it kind of hungrily. But my budget at the moment really doesn’t allow for it.
I played it briefly at a contest. And it seemed nice but I wasn’t able to put it through the wringer properly because of the busy setting (and the tasks I had at said contest).

I tried one and it’s nice
But I’m 100% confident that Mir Kim isn’t gonna use this next year. Financiële that’s not a strategic move. His sponsorship simply means: use a yoyo of us. Win. We sell the yoyo. Profit.
That’s gonna work with mono metals and bimetals because of lots of units sold and a high margin per unit
Plastic doesn’t have a high margin. Magnesium won’t get lots of units sold.
Point of diminishing returns. The magnesium Miracle is good, perhaps better than the Miracle 25. But its not a world of difference. And honestly, I don’t think Mir or Miri are involved in the magnesium Miracle, mono Miracle and plastic miracle.

There isn’t a weight difference on YYF site description brass vs the SS version. I wonder if they play differently?

Micro arc oxidation, definitely gets damaged more easily than anodized aluminum.

The brass ring version is approximately 1.5 g heavier than the other one.
I contacted Hans and he got back to me and said it was a simple oversight that he and Ben did not add that to the specs. My personal guess is that since they only have about 2 million things to do that once in a while, some minor technicality slips through the cracks. He told me he will address that in short order now that they are actually aware.
Personally, I don’t have both versions. So obviously it would be incredibly difficult to just guess what the difference differences would be to play?
But since I do have a little experience messing around with weight rings made from various materials… I’ll guess anyway, lol
I would guess… With the same placement of rings, the brass ring model at a gram and a half heavier would play a little bit slower and feel a little more powerful and be a little more stable. But every aspect would be just that… A little…
If a player, leans more into power and does long combos, the slight speed drop will be nothing.
On the other hand, the player that has a good stroke, but doesn’t power up because they don’t do real long combos and they like to move with a little more speed, the non-brass version would most likely be a little quicker.
