I knew Jonathan’s routine, if he hit it cleanly, was going to be really cool since he absolutely went off at the Indonesia national contest but even so, that routine was so cool to see. Up there with some of my favourite contest routines ever I think. I’m sad Keiran’s routine didn’t go great but I really enjoyed his tricks. He has such great flow and tech, hopefully he can hit a clean routine next year. Also, shout-out to him for being the first person representing the UK in the worlds 1a finals in the modern prelim system era! ---

Was my 1st Worlds had a great time was overwhelmed with so much positive fun friendly yo-yo and non yo-yo people. My wife came with and does not have interest in throwing and enjoyed herself and got caught up in the positive energy was rooting for players that did impressive tricks. Thank you to everyone performing and putting the event together and the sponsors. To the competitors I appreciate the courage and preparations needed for anyone to have the confidence in their yo-yo skills to step on stage and compete at such a high level for other yo-yo people’s enjoyment. I want to say a special thank you to all of those who did not perform as well as everyone and yourself knows you can. If everyone on stage hit everything perfect it would seem like the skills are supernatural and not attainable for mortals like me. Thank you The battle night was my wife’s favorite night it was the most fun night.
