# Working with titanium

What is your main goal in designing a new yoyo? Is it a desire to push the material to its limits?

I think I used to design a lot more at the limits but the Bgrade rate is so high, it drives up the cost of the yoyo itself. For example, the Fulvia was a great experiment of “at the limit” design. You can check it out on my blog. Now a days I focus more on fun yoyos, or how a yoyo will make me feel when I use it. With that said I have a new design that is way more competition focused in the pipieline for the spring/summer!
