# Wooden axle in a modern yoyo

So Miguel Correa replaces his bearing with a wooden axle in the following video.

That’s either a Tom Kuhn or Proyo/Duncan wooden axle insert. By the size I’d call it a TK. Spintastics used a similar wooden axle. Not sure where you can get any of them at this point.
