# Winding up a yoyo (without wrapping the string around it)

Just got a new FHZ and I`m stoked to start yo-ing again.

Quick question though: how does one wind up one`s yoyo without wrapping the string around it? I’ve been looking around in the LEARN section, but I don’t know the name of the move either 😛

This is what you want!

There are two different types, a hand start and a snap start. There are many ways to do each of them so find what works for you!

There is one that is also kind of easier. What you do is have the dead yoyo and you put it in a trapeze and rollit to your left if you are right handed ad to the right if you are left handed. ad it should wind up the string.
