# Will 19mm CBC pads work on a yo-yo designed for Gen-Yo Hat Pads?

Whenever I silicone it myself, the pads on my Octave 1 never seem to last very long before they lose grip. Thick hat pads are nearly impossible to find, so would regular K-pad/CBC/YYF response pads work?
