This thing looks incredibly stable with such a high percentage of the weight on the outer rings, but also wouldn’t be surprised if it exploded if it were to hit a hard surface :joy: ---

If it was designed correctly it’d be solid… I’ve had no problems with my 5a beater Connection and I’m sure this is no different. ---

Isnt PC a softer material? Joining 2 metals parts onto it seems sus to be honest. Same with the adrenaline with such a thin plastic part. Can you speak to how these are designed to not pop apart like airpods hitting the ground :joy: ---

Machined hybrids with steel/AL rims have been a thing for a long time now and don’t really have durability issues. ---

(I’m assuming for everything not DD) They have a buckled design to keep the ring(s) in place and if they come apart they can snap back in fairly easily. You’re also probably thinking of Delrin/POM being a softer plastic. ---
