# Why was he disqualified?

It’s not censorship; it’s a private enterprise that can set rules as it sees fit. You’re free to yo-yo to explicit music as much as you like—and I certainly do—but it’s a family venue and sets rules how they choose. Personally I’d prefer they allow a little leeway and just deduct points for stuff that crosses a line, but it’s not my call.

Also, this thread is crazy old and probably not worth dredging up.

Might be worth it if we can find some mirrors for the videos mentioned! Paolo’s Cal states 2014 1A routine doesn’t seem to exist on youtube anymore (link doesn’t work) and the Jun video mentioned also doesn’t work haha; only one still up is Sebby’s 2nd place 1A WYYC 2011.
