Mine runs super quite which is odd for most “Plastics”. This thing regens like no other yo-yo!

Isn’t that Peakhand PC/Pom? I know @wayne927 at Layer Infinity has a Peak Cap. From the sounds of it that run is going to be more limited than the AL. I guessing the same issue that @bjardin had with the FH1 Delrin numbers.

Haha kinda
The only thing I don’t like about the delrin peakhand is it’s too snappy. Its binds are tighter than anything I’ve ever tried before, including a few A bearing yoyos. The aluminum version has looser binds so I prefer it

Peak 2 is a good yoyo, it is just lacks a bit of a “spark”, as already been written above. I do not hate it, and i have two of them 😃

I agree with you. The community wants a P3ak as close as possible to the OG in size, shape and playability. People want the “soul” that was given by the “old design garbage” that the old Peaks had :wink:
The Plastic Peak is cool, but I don’t think making a metal one with that size and shape will calm the community’s desire for Peaks…It would be a good tribute if they recreated it as faithfully as possible to the originals, as they have done with other yo-yos (like the new 888 or the Ti-vayder)

Yeah, as much as I hate to admit it.
Majority of consumers wants a remake of the original Peak. No need in lying to you @unklesteve
It would be a huge success, especially if some of the old guard were involved making it like Onedrop and it came in the classic color ways
Does that mean we deserve it? Nope, lol.
I’ll buy whatever the P3ak becomes and I’ll be stupid happy

The chunky feel and fidelity to the original shape is what makes the Plastic Peak so good, but it fixed the weight distribution and play issues without straying too far from the original design. Taking that same design applying that same level of fidelity but in aluminum at the original specs, while still fixing the play in the same way that the plastic did? That’s the ideal we’re aiming for.

This is spot on. Peakhand AL kind of addresses this as well, without caps its more like a Peak 2 with Caps more like an OG Peak. These Delrin Caps gets this Salmon Fade up to 68 grams and it feels very similar to my 2nd Run Peak uncandidly. Playing with Kitty Normal the older version.

Ive only ever thrown the peak 2. Felt good, I liked the shape and the finish. As an unbiased player, the original sounds objectively worse as a functional skill toy, especially considering the vibe and the painted on finish that might make grinds difficult. I’m definitely interested in playing it but I doubt it would be my cup of tea. Glad to see so many people are passionate about it though!
