# Why did I wait so long to try hubstacks?

For reference, I’m using a TTF Superstar, since it’s the only full size hubstack yoyo I have access too that isn’t the $1.50 AliExpress thing I bought for giggles.

But holy crap, while doing a pullstart is just a small flair thing, not some actual huge difference, there’s something just so fun about starting a yoyo that way. I’m now wondering if there are tricks that use the hubstacks in the middle of the trick or something. Picture because picture.

This is how I always feel about hubstacks. First getting into them, it feels like there’s a massively unexplored space, an endless experimental playground, and in a lot of ways, there is! It’s just, I can’t be bothered to explore it…. I’ve never gone out and looked for specific stack tricks, but I’m sure some exist. I know people were doing some cool stuff with stacked spikes for a time, but I haven’t seen anything like that in a minute
