I think that the greatest freestyle video ever made was Steve Brown’s 2007 AP routine. he was robbed so bad I can’t even believe it.
I think my other favorites are Marcus Koh, Andre Boulay, and Graeme Steller.

My favorites are the kids as my son’s school… we’ve got a small crew of yoyo’er now. They get in a group at recess and throw ;D … and everytime i’m at the school for PTA or some other function… “Mr. James Mr. James!! Can I have a new string? Mr. James look at my new trick… etc”

These guys have really wowed me when they performed. Top 5 are:
1. Andre Boulay - incredibly smooth, fluid and focused, very clean, always technically perfect in a way that appears effortless. My favorite of all time.
2. Christopher Chia - Intense, and plays with tons of energy, also technically very great.
3. Anthony Rojas - Incredibly perfect choreographed freestyles, extremely animated, uses his full body. Unique style.
4. Harold Owens - Just great tricks, very focused, serious competitor who brings his A game every time, and always a pleasure to watch.
5. Ben Mcphee - Best 2A performance I’ve ever seen, very animated, uses the stage well, and moves around great.
6. Jonathan Robinson - Just brings more personality to the performance than any other. The definition of swagger, oozes confidence, and just a laid back smooth style. Different in a special way.
There are several others…but those guys are at the top of the list.
On the forum…
Shadowz143 and yoyokid8. It’s just a pleasure to see those guys progressing. They surprise me every time. :wink: My boys mgiroux77 and Fellavader. I’m always screaming at the contests for all those guys.
