This just makes me want to vote for the other people since they’re not trying to boost their votes by asking a forum and clogging up the boards ---

I see no problem with people asking those who follow them on Instagram, Twitter or their Facebook friends for votes. This one puzzles me though, because it could backfire. A bunch of strangers might vote for the competition to spite you. :-\ I guess everyone else in the contest could post here too, I’m just not so sure it is the best strategy. Good luck with the contest. There must be something big at stake.
