# Whip help!!

I’ve been trying to learn how to do iron whip and jade whip for some time now, but i just cant seem to get it right. A few times it’ll come out, but most of the time it won’t work. What should i do?

What are you getting? Are you seeing the slack in the string? Is it moving around? Is it just missing the yoyo?

yeah el niño is my nickname at school. well sometimes when i do iron whip the loop is too short and wont reach the yo-yo. I’ve been trying to make it reach by like tugging on the yo-yo to make it jump up so that the loop can reach. For jade whip, when i try to get the loop through the gap the yo-yo just like changes directions and i would have to turn myself to get it right. I also think string tension has something to do with it because the string always becomes twisted and the loop is too small.

Learn how to fix string tension. There are a ton of methods out there.

Yay! i’ve been able to do jade whip up to 3 times in a row and iron whip only once, but i’ll keep working on it. Thanks for all the help!
