# Where is the UK yoyo scene?

Many UK throwers on here?
There used to be a UK yoyo forum a while ago but it got taken down, used to be quite popular.
I’ve never met another yoyo person but there must be others in my country who are also obsessed with fun little spinning discs on a string.

Where abouts are you? I live in Cornwall, no one down here is into it (that I know of anyway). There is a facebook group called BYYA - British Yoyo Association but to be honest it is pretty quiet a majority of the time.

Yeah, I’m not on Facebook but I’ve heard of it. I look in the BYYA website every once in a while but it get very few updates.
I’m in Wales, so a little distance away. I’m sure there used to be a fair amount of UK throwers around.

I was also shocked to find so few people in the uk are into Yoyo-ing,
The BYYA should post about nationals soon, I’m hoping to meet some local-ish people there,
