Aside from early and late 2024, yoyo purchases were pretty conservative - Deeper State is probably my favorite of the bunch, followed by one of the wood yoyos I had made and the Duncan Butterflies that bookended my 2024. The Deeper State though has pretty much been with me through the entirety of the year.
Most unique yoyo of the year for me has to be the TopYo Block - a slimline yoyo (that can be set up responsive) with 2x2 Lego studs on the hubs. It came with various 2x2 pieces including small turntables (for Lego-style hubstacks). Of course, I went down the rabbit hole and added a bunch of stuff onto it until I had an explosion of legos as soon as I threw 😃
Do have a final yoyo coming this year, decided to try out a CLYW Campfire…haven’t done one of their throws in a long while.

Mine is set up responsive (will need smaller axle, ended up buying a shooting star to get both pieces). Pretty cool. Currently have the 2x2 turntable bricks on it so I can pull start.

Apologies for taking so long to respond. Tesract feels more straightforward than either of those two. Not as many interesting angles or cuts than the GTR JS and with wider/flatter rings than the Upheaval. It feels closest to Fractal but only tangentially. It feels like it’s own thing and it’s really nice. If Kagerou 2024 didn’t come out, Tesract would be my favorite Bimetal of the year
