Since question is slightly different than the one in this thread ([What trick took too long to learn, but should have been easy?](https://forums.yoyoexpert.com/t/what-trick-took-too-long-to-learn-but-should-have-been-easy/418160)), I’ll change my answer from Kwyjibo to Utena Triangle. Was too early in pt. 2 of my yoyo journey to attempt a trick like that, and it made me realize I don’t enjoy learning _most_ tech tricks.

This. I usually grind one out until I at least understand what I’m supposed to do. Then, I’ll start learning another one and practice these two while also getting in some reps of the most recent trick I’ve “solidly” completed (mixed into some brainless combos, of course).
