I would link the YouTube video instead maybe and those tutorials are fine I think idk trick a week does it. They’re just tuts i don’t think yye crew would be salty at that but uh idk. I do think the yt vid would be better though bc then ppl can watch the trick without leaving the forums. Uh either way nice work yo ---

I started on the trick of the week 2024 - Double Tower Picture Trick (pictorial 18) last week - [Trick-a-Week 2024—#43 Yuuki Slack - #2 by GTDropKnot](https://forums.yoyoexpert.com/t/trick-a-week-2024-1-double-tower-picture-trick/391350/2) It took me a good week to learn that one but it’s a lot of fun. I’m still working on finger spins in between new tricks and I am constantly getting better at them but I can only get them if they have the finger spin dimple, I’m even able to land the DNA from time to time. I know the DNA is an over hyped trick but it looks cool and it’s hard to master so I think it’s definitely worth learning. I can NOT do finger spins without the dimple and it’s frustrating me but I’ll keep going until I get it. I love when you master a trick to where you forget that it was once hard for you. I’m also working on weaving tricks, and whip to 1.5 mount at the moment. ---

Started working on Doc Pop’s Hella Copter trick. long story short, I ended up naming the trick in his patreon “name this trick” contest and now feel obligated to master it, lol. ---

Shoot the Moon I already hit my tooth once. I am practicing with some flips from a regular throw and also just catching a high forward pass. But when I try to direct it up, I just lose control. It’s a nice one to practice outside, though. ---

I really wish I had that problem, most of my throws don’t even have the dimple. Hopefully, I’ll get there some day. I finally get the Eli Hops down last night, was a really good feeling, it just clicked. Whereas before, the yoyo would just flip right over my finger. Now I can’t stop doing them. 😆 ---

That’s a good one, I just recently worked on that one myself. It’s one that you can always go back to in your practice sessions. It’s got a fun flow and I think it will help us out in the long run for sure. ---

I agree. I think I’ll work on that one as well. There are certainly many more mounts for me to learn and 1.5 is one I’ve not really gotten yet. ---

I say I’ve learned it but I really need to work on my flow with the 1.5 mount… I’m sloppy. I want to have that effortless flow you see the pros doing, they make it look so easy too. It’s an easy mount but really hard for me to get the flow of. I hope that it will just click one day for me. Adam? I think that’s the name of the guy in the video you posted (YoTricks), anyway, he’s an awesome teacher. Is he still putting new content out? I hope he is. ---

i don’t think they are doing much content these days. tbf for those of us coming into the hobby recently it feels like we missed the boom by a few years. most tutorials i see are at least a couple of years old and reviews and such don’t seem to be going like they were before. wish i had been around for those times. i feel like a zoomer being told how rad the '90s were 😆 ---
