# What thick lube or silicone grease are you using in your modern responsive bearings?

For both my RBC and metal Harbinger I line one side of the bearing (shield still on) with Traxxas grease, and then screw it back together. The grease will make its way into the tiny gap between the shield and the bearing wall and seems to work great. Just don’t use too much, it’s not needed.
