The diagonal striped background is very annoying. Plain white or whatever is easy to read. A background similar to the white stripes would work. Skip the translucent pseudo plastic overlay look. ---

i’m playing Mortal Kombat,and i try to do a fatality. When i’m close to my rival,i do the button combinations,AND HE FREAKING PUNCHES HIM!!! I wanted to see decapitation,but no!!! I gotta wait till the next 2 rounds,AND IT HAPPENS AGAIN!!
