# What pads fit a spyy Flying V?

For extra grip, you can also get away with the YYF thick green beginner pads if you’re shimming the gap some with the half spec bearing or if you simply want C size. The pads protrude ever so slightly.

The first release (green) was designed with an extra deep groove to accommodate doubled pads slightly protruding for extra response. I ended up preferring the feel of flush silicone so we went w a standard groove on the 2nd run.
