# What iss the best string for the POPstar?

I cant really do anything with my POPstar. I’m really embarrassed to say it but i cant make it come back to my hand after tricks. :-[ right now i have these strings.

It’s not the strings. It’s called unresponsive play. Learn how to bind. Here is a vid showing several ways.

Or you can pop one of the shields off of the bearing and lube it up.

Just to say something… The other posts are absolutely correct. In regards to your string, I’d recommend 50/50 or 100% polyester. Cotton seems to break a lot easier, at least for me.
