# What is the best weight for wood yo-yos?

Bottom left, was maple (fairly light) with iron wood (extremely heavy) rims. It played great for how light it was. Plenty of rim weight in a light package.

Rob, that maple and ironwood is a really cool combination of woods. And it sounds super interesting at 36 grams.
