# What is the best string for 2a and 4a?

Specifically for the unleashed and the flight. Does the string really matter?

Good question.

Poly’s good for 4a.

It’s also fine for 2a but it won’t last as long, and there’s always the friction that can mess with plastic string. 50/50’s a safe recommendation for 2a, but I hear most pros use poly for pure performance.
